Rahul bose dating
It’s a celebration time for the married couple, Konkana Sen Sharma and Ranvir Shorey .
On Tuesday morning, Konkana Sen Sharma gave birth to a baby boy at a South Mumbai hospital. After dating for almost three years, Konkana and Ranvir got hitched at a private wedding at their Goregaon residence in Mumbai.
“Sixteen years after directing Everybody Says I’m Fine, a lot of people are curious as to why I chose a more ‘mainstream’ choice of film to direct.
The answer is simple - it’s a true story, it’s an unbelievably inspiring story,” Bose said in a statement.“It’s a visual feast as you start from a tribal village and ascend 29,000 ft to the top of the world, but most importantly, it is a story that as an Indian will make you laugh, will make you cry, will make you proud, will make you leave the cinema hall feeling six inches taller,” Bose added.
His latest film ‘Gugraon’, where he plays a character called Nikki, has received strong critical buzz. He spoke about the cultural dislocation of an Indian American born and raised in America going to India.
Since the time was very limited because of the speed-interview nature of the interaction, I did not dwell on much.
Yesterday, I was at the presser for the Chicago South Asian Film Festival along with dear friend and fellow journalist Ashok Easwaran.
There was a collective interaction with about a dozen of so filmmakers offering short films at the festival.
When asked by Ashok whether he had lost his American accent, he snapped his fingers and said, “Oh, I can switch it on like that.” It was refreshing to meet someone aware of the follies of the life in show business.
I will do a separate piece on Rajkummar Rao tomorrow.
Bollywood actor Rahul Bose returns to direction after a long gap with his upcoming film Poorna and says it will make people of the country happy and proud.
